Hardspace: Shipbreaker was released to Early Access yesterday, which is that game where you carve up junk starships for cash. I've not played it yet, so don't expect much insight here, but I can recommend Eurogamer's excellent write-up, which highlights the ship designs, unsurprisingly, being reminiscent of Homeworld.
It caused me to briefly ponder - given that Shipbreaker's roster of ships is currently quite small - whether actual Homeworld vessels might one day make it into the game. I mean, given that the Shipbreaker maker is also making Homeworld 3, it could happen, right? Let me rephrase that: It should happen!

In fact, why stop there? Why not bundle up iconic ships from all manner of movies and games? Who wouldn't love to slice apart a Cobra Mk III, the Millennium Falcon, or the boob ship from Battle Beyond the Stars? Shipbreaker could one day be the game where all manner of classic ships go to be sectioned. If Rocket League can have the Batmobile and DeLorean in its universe, why not sci-fi's most iconic vessels in Shipbreakers? Makes sense when you think about it.
